Figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that 13 out of 100 men will develop prostate cancer during their lifetime. African-American men are more likely to get prostate cancer and those with a family history (father, son or brother) of prostate cancer are at greater risk.

Appointments for a free screening may be scheduled by calling 1(855) CHS-4500. Information about CHS’s full array of cancer treatment services may be obtained by visiting chsoncology.org.
